Here are some important dates you won't want to miss:

July 21st, Gear Drop Off - West Hills Church - Bring your gear to the church to be loaded on the trailers.  Anything that you want to meet you in the campground should be loaded this night including bedding, tents, coolers and buckets.  Do NOT drop off your first set of pioneer clothing and comfortable shoes (you should be wearing that when you arrive) or your water bottle.

July 23rd-24th, Travel to Martin's Cove, Wyoming - arrive there at 12:00 and Enjoy the Journey!

July 28th, Gear Pick Up - Bishops house - pick up all gear from Bishop's house on Monday night.  If you can't be there, gear can be picked up by appointment after that.


ALREADY PAST ACTIVITIES:


July 24th, Pioneer Day Celebration - keep in mind your pioneer experience and how you'll be celebrating next year as you celebrate with your family this year!

October 5th-6th, General Conference - there's no better way to strengthen your faith and testimony than to listen to the living Prophets bear prophetic witness.  Make time to attend/watch/listen to every session!

February 9th, Sacrament Meeting - come and enjoy a sacrament meeting devoted to trek.

February 9th, Kick-Off Fireside 7:00 pm, West Hills Chapel -  Enjoy an evening learning about the pioneers and the plan we have designed to help us prepare to have the best trek experience ever.

March 3rd, "What's Your Name?" Family Home Evening, 7:00 pm, West Hills Church - Come and learn about pioneer names and where you can find a name to trek for.  Family assignments will be made tonight.

March 30th, "How do we Forge Families of Faith?", 1:00-2:00 pm, West Hills Chapel Overflow -  Enjoy a 5th Sunday combined meeting discussing practical ways to implement our theme in every day family life.

April 7th,  "17 Miracles Movie Night" Family Home Evening, 6:30 PM, Cedar Historic Theatre - Come enjoy an evening at the movies with your trek family.  If you are able to make a $1 donation per person to help cover the cost of the theatre you are invited to do so.  Concession stands will also be open so you may want to bring a few dollars for popcorn as well.  If you cannot make the donation please come anyway, it will be a wonderful family night for our whole ward!

April 10th, Relief Society sewing day, 1:00-8:00 pm, West Hills Church - All sisters are invited to come to the church anytime from 1 to 8 and bring their sewing machines, fabric and anything else.  Sisters will be available to help sew, cut patterns, teach and assist as we prepare clothing for trek.  DO NOT WAIT until June to start making and gathering your pioneer clothing!  Each member of your family will need 2 outfits.

April 26th, "If I were a Pioneer" Primary Activity, 9:00 am-11:00 am, West Hills Church - All the primary children (and teachers) are invited to come and enjoy a day of being a pioneer.

May 5th, "Night on the Trail" Family Home Evening, 6:00-8:00 pm, Equestrian Point Park - Enjoy a night of great pioneer food and fun in the great outdoors.  We will have a pioneer/dutch oven cook-off competition and the night's events also include a special appearance by Ephraim Hanks and lessons on how to play some of the games we will do on trek.

June 2nd, "It's in the Details" Family Home Evening, 7:00 pm, West Hills Church - Come to finish your preparations for trek, including Ma/Pa Training, Grandparent Training, Youth/Primary activities, making your buckets and finishing all other supplies you'll need for trek.

June 17th, "Singing and Dancing to Zion" activity, 7:00 pm, Hunter Barn - Enjoy an evening of music as the youth teach us how to square dance.  Don't forget to wear your pioneer clothing!

July 7th, "Go West Young Man!" Family Home Evening, 7:00 pm, Bicentennial Park - Come for a trek prep hike from Bicentennial Park to Canyon Park East.  Medical instruction will be given and we'll do a final review on the gear you need to bring.  Again, wear your pioneer clothing - it's a great opportunity to have some practical experience in them.
