It's "sew" time - boy's edition

Men's clothing should also be very simple.  Try khaki  or docker styler pants (no jeans).  You can take a simple button-up collared shirt and remove the collar, belt loops and pocket and voila!  Pioneer attire!  Add a simple scarf tie, a vest or suspenders and you're even more in style.
Men should also come prepared with a hat.  Any straw hat will do (cowboy hats included) but they need to have a Stampede Strap/Wind strap (the one that goes under your chin).  This will keep you from chasing your hat across the prairie and into the next state.
Practice walking in the pants and shoes you will be wearing on trek.  Chaffing is most uncomfortable for men.  Bring some baby powder and don't be too macho to use it!
For the boys it's the same story as the men.  You can use colored shirts, vests, suspenders and straw hats.  Boy's hats need to have a strap also (to keep you from chasing your son, chasing his hat across the prairie).

Please remember no baseball caps, no logo's, no t-shirts and no jeans.  Athletic shoes may be worn, you want your feet in comfortable, broken-in shoes.  Long sleeves will keep the wind and sun off your skin and actually keep you cooler than short sleeves.

Are your men folk all dressed?  Send us a picture, a pattern, or helpful tips to share with the group.
