Pioneer Database
This is a database available online on lds.org, where you can type in the name of any mormon pioneer that crossed the plains, and it will find all of their personal history and stories.
Sorry Allen - the link is supposed to take you to the Pioneer Overland Travels database where you can enter information about ancestors and find out if they were part of the Mormon migration and in which company. It has been updated and should work now.
Maybe this link should be more specific. It does not go directly to any Pioneer search site. Which pioneer search site are you referring to?

ReplyDeleteI haven't been successful in using it. I can pull it up, but the cursor won't click into the area to allow me to type anything in there.
